RackMates is not software for the gym: it is an app for the people who train in it. All it needs from you is for your page to exist, and that is free.

  • It costs nothing

    No fee, no commission, no "business" tier. If anyone pays, it is the person training, for features of their own.

  • There is no integration

    Nothing to install, no turnstile, no management software to connect. The app runs on the phone of the person training.

  • We do not show your occupancy

    The "inside now" number only counts RackMates people who checked in, and we always say so. It is not a capacity figure.

  • Your people stay

    Training with someone makes it easier to show up. RackMates makes it easy to meet people from your floor, at the same time, at the same rack.

When three different people check in at your gym, the page becomes verified and shows the mark. No forms, no calls.

Claim your page

If it is your gym, the page is yours

From the app you can claim the gym's page. We review it by hand and, if everything fits, you can edit hours, website and phone.

  1. 1Install RackMates and find your gym (or add it if it is missing).
  2. 2On the gym's page, tap "Is this your gym?" and leave your name, role and an email. If someone on RackMates referred you, add their code: they get 6 months of Pro.
  3. 3We notify you by push and email when it is approved. From then on you edit the public info.
  4. 4Print the QR poster and put it at the entrance: your people check in and whoever referred you gets their gift.

Print the poster with your gym's QR

An A4 with your gym's name and a QR that opens its RackMates page. It is generated in your browser; you only need your page's identifier or its name.

If you do not have the identifier yet, you can generate the poster with the name only; the QR will point to rackmates.app.

Questions

What people usually ask

Can I ask you to remove my gym?

Yes. Write to [email protected] from a gym email address and we will remove it. Note that the app only shows the place's public name and address, like any map.

Will I see who trains at my gym?

No. Claimed pages let you edit the gym's public information, not see people. The data of the people training is theirs.

What if I have several locations?

Each location is a page. You can claim them one by one from the app with the same account.
